Fines Fillium is a fictional place that takes place roughly in the Pleistocene but includes several other animals from other times in the early Cenozoic time.
The Fines region itself is surrounded by high mountain ranges that act like walls or a large oval like barrier around it. It is a paradise like area in the midst of the horrid and harsh Pleistocene time and the only known area with a sense of order and safety.
This place has existed for 2000 years at the time of this rp and is at the end of the Smilodon dictatorship (first was the war era of the wolves, and then the theologically ruled time of the mammoths) and the beginning of the Cave Lion rule.
Four fairly large prides of lions have made their way over the mountains and into the Fines in search of a better life.
The Pride leaders are Septentrio, Meridiem, and twins Occidens and Oriens. They have each divied up the Fines into four sections, the North (ruled by Septentrio), the South (ruled by Meridiem), the East (ruled by Oriens) and the West (ruled by Occidens).
However, the smilodon numbers have risen to immense numbers in their long time of rule and aren't going to give up without a fight. The lions alone cannot take them, but with the help of the other animals, tired of being dictated by saber cats, just might be able to overthrow them.
